We offer full time care and part time care for children 6 months old to 5 years old.
Hours of Operation: Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:30 pm.
6 months - 18 months old
In the infant program we focus on sensory activities, communication and play. Children learn through music, dance, books, flashcards, toys, and their environment by exploring what is around them. Teachers also focus on helping children learn about their bodies and comfort children as feelings arise.
18 months - 2.5 years old
In the toddler program we use recycled materials, crafts, toys, games, books, and sensory play to encourage creativity and discovery. Language skills, fine motor and gross motor skills are incorporated into daily activities. We focus on team work, and continue to build on social skills, while encouraging children to practice acts of independence. Emphasis on communication and identifying feelings is also a key component and modeled regularly in this class.
2.5 - 5 years old
In the preschool program we focus on cultivating creativity and independence in children. Children learn the importance of cooperation, communication and imagination amongst their peers. Our day starts with a circle time, where we welcome each other, discuss ideas, set intentions, make plans, and support each other’s interests. Learning is created based on children’s interests and include introductions into math, science, comprehension and life skills. We do this through our core learning activities such as art, dance, music, dramatic play, physical activity, cooking/baking, and gardening. Children are encouraged to solve problems and communicate needs amongst their peers, building self-esteem and preparing them for the next chapter in their lives.
